Receive and process orders
How orders arrive, what each tab means, how to accept or reject one, and how the Preentah Agent turns a job into printed pages.
Your dashboard is the queue. Orders appear as customers place them, with the files, page counts, print configuration and payment method attached.
The five tabs
- New — orders that have just arrived and are waiting for your decision.
- Reprint — jobs a customer has resubmitted with a reprint code.
- In Progress — orders you've accepted, including anything currently printing.
- Completed — finished orders, where you also mark delivery.
- Cancelled — orders you rejected or that were otherwise cancelled.
Accepting or rejecting
Open a new order to see the customer's details, the files with their page counts, their notes, and what they paid. Accept it and it moves to In Progress. Reject it and we ask why — a short free-text reason, such as running out of colour ink or a page count beyond your capacity. That reason is recorded on the order.
Printing with the Preentah Agent
Orders don't print through the browser. Install the Preentah Agent on the computer connected to your printer — it runs quietly in the background, reports which printers you have, and sends the files straight to them. Once you've sent every file, the order completes automatically.
- Download the installer for Windows, or macOS on Apple Silicon or Intel.
- Open it and click through the install prompt. It connects itself.
- Pick your default printer and paper tray in Printer settings.
- Optionally turn on auto-print so new orders go straight to the printer.
Completing and delivering
From the In Progress tab you can move an order to Completed or Cancelled. Both are final — the confirmation dialog says so, and there's no undo. For completed orders, the Completed tab carries a separate delivery toggle that you flip from Pending to Delivered once the customer has collected.
Reprint codes
If something went wrong with a finished order, you can issue a reprint code from the completed order. It's a single-use code in the form RPR-XXXXXX that the customer enters to resubmit the job for free — you choose which documents it covers, and you can email it to them directly.
Key takeaways
- Orders arrive live — you don't need to refresh.
- Rejecting always asks for a reason, and the customer sees it.
- You can issue up to two single-use reprint codes per order.
